Old Mount Vernon High School To Get Renovated

Mount Vernon High School has moved closer to Phase 1 of renovating and reusing the existing structure recently. Supervisor Dan Storck (D-Mount Vernon) organized a virtual meeting with the community and designers to discuss the plan and listen to ideas. Alexandria Celebrates 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day

Alexandria was all green on Saturday with dogs, bagpipes and Irish dancers for the 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration and dog show. The event is held every year by the nonprofit organization Ballyshaners. It is an effort to preserve Irish history while bringing the community together.
