Alexandria Celebrates 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day
Alexandria was all green on Saturday with dogs, bagpipes and Irish dancers for the 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration and dog show. The event is held every year by the nonprofit organization Ballyshaners. It is an effort to preserve Irish history while bringing the community together. Kelly Grant, who works with the dog-friendly coworking organization ALX community, said, "We are really all about the community, so this is just another way for us to have fun."
